Grantwriting

Writing successful grants is an art. Grantmakers, however, do look for similar elements in a good proposal. These workshops give you what you need to write a successful grant proposal. The workshop/presentation can range from a short (12 Tips) presentation to a full day workshop which allows time to practice the skills learned.

Each workshop covers, at a minimum:

  • Preparing to write the grant
  • Writing a compelling needs assessment
  • Developing goals and measurable objectives
  • Evaluating your grant
  • 10 details that make the difference between success and failure

Nancy spent 18 years reading and evaluating LSTA grants so has read over 2000 proposals. Some proposals are so good they beg to be funded. Others are so bad they could never be funded. Learn what makes the difference.
